2026 Elections
Come join our Board of Directors!
Nominations are officially open for our 2026 Board of Directors elections! Any member of Infinity Performing Arts is welcome to nominate themselves or others to join our team.
Voting will be held in person at our first Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, August 25, at 7 pm in the Hopedale Unitarian Parish Sanctuary. Anyone who is nominated or wishes to vote in the election must attend this meeting in order to be counted. This is the time to make your voice heard!
What positions are open?
We are currently opening all positions on our Board of Directors for election as follows:
-
President
-
Vice President
-
Secretary
-
Treasurer
-
Operations Director
-
Marketing/Communications Director
-
3 Directors at Large
What does each position do?
If you would like a detailed breakdown of each board member's role and responsibilities, please fill out the Contact Us form so we can get back to you with exactly what you're looking for.
Why are you opening all Board positions at once?
As we are a new company, all of our Board of Directors positions were picked at the same time. However, we understand that to best move forward, these roles need to be staggered in future elections. In order to begin that staggered pattern, we are breaking down the upcoming term limits as follows:
-
President, Treasurer, Marketing/Communications Director, and 1 Director at Large will have 1-year terms as of the 2026 elections. After the 2027 elections, these positions would have 2-year terms.
-
Vice President, Operations Director, and remaining 2 Directors at Large will have 2-year terms as of the 2026 elections and be up for re-election in 2028.
Who can submit a nomination and/or vote in the upcoming elections?
Any member of IPA is welcome and encouraged to submit their nominations and vote in our upcoming Town Hall meeting!
To submit your nomination, please email us at infinityperforming@gmail.com with the subject line "2026 Election Nomination" no later than Tuesday, August 18. In the email itself, please state your name, whom you are nominating (even if it's yourself), the position the nomination is for, and why you think you or they are the best choice for the role. IPA members are welcome to nominate themselves or another person, but if you're looking to nominate someone else, please reach out to them in advance. We will also do our best to reach out to anyone who is nominated by another person for their approval.
Who is an IPA member?
An IPA member is anyone who has been involved with past IPA productions. This includes being in the cast, working backstage, directing, stage managing, etc. If you have donated your time in at least one production with us over the past year, congratulations - you're officially a member of IPA! For this election, this means anyone who has worked with us on Radium Girls, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, The Mousetrap, or is currently involved in Twelfth Night.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!
